I went to go watch the movie on Aug 7th and from the reviews of other I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I mean this is a different side of Peele that we're seeing being so used to horror we finally see somewhat of a more realistic sci-fi movie. It wouldn't be under horror for me because it wasn't scary more of a thriller. But the realistic moments when someone would say 'nope' is the exact response would have if they saw an alien over their car.

My favorite character was Emerald and OJ just because their dynamic was unmatched. Seeing the carry out their father's legacy after his murder was a heartwarming moment. This adventure brought them closer together than anything. Emerald is this out going person that you just love being around the energy was immaculate. Keke honestly killed the role and it suit her well. But with every over hype and enthusiastic person, there's always that overprotective person and that was OJ he played the big brother role.

OJ was the smartest character there though, helping find out what was causing the horses to go crazy and finding out not to look at it in the eyes. This helped tremendously. Now to my least favorite characters it had to be that carnival man. He never listened and that's why he dies because of lack of listening skills and being money hungry. Why on earth would you think that it's okay to profit and tame a creature that you don't even know.

Emerald slightly touches on why she chooses not to stay in the company or business ever since her father died. But OJ is determined to figure out and replenish the once legacy of the family name.

A character that didn't get enough recognition for me was Angel. He was the best side character the movie could ask for. Saying short funny comment in a time where you should be serious gave comical relieve.

One of the things that caught my attention to was when the horse first went crazy it was because it was looking back at itself, I definitely feel like this connects in some way.

Overall, this movie was predictable but also relatable. With the comedic relief but the suspense left me on the edge of the seat. I give this movie a 9/10 only because I was confused if there's supposed to be a motive or meaning behind all of this. Peele hasn't failed me with a movie yet.
